Who is eligible for palliative care?

It is appropriate at any stage of the illness, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Palliative care can be provided alongside curative treatments and is not dependent on prognosis.
Is palliative care the same as hospice care?
No, palliative care is not the same as hospice care. While both types of care focus on providing comfort and support, there are some key differences. Our palliative care can be provided at any stage of a serious illness and alongside curative treatments.
It is aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals and their families. Hospice care, on the other hand, is specifically for individuals with a terminal prognosis and focuses on providing comfort and support in the final stages of life.
